Drawing on the subterranean nature of the two houses we took this concept through to influence the palette and design within the interior architecture.
The house is a concealed jewel hidden within the plot, enveloped by beautiful landscaping with a strong loose and subterranean aesthetic.
Sedimentary layering has informed the material selection and application, with a minimal yet concise palette. Natural tones and a muted holistic design enhances the architecture in a luxurious, contemporary and refined way.
There is a modern Japanese aesthetic that has been brought through the design which is close to the clients heart. The calm yet eclectic furniture and lighting selection adds a softness to the home delivering a sense of peace and tranquility.
